Christine Reed

Christine Reed is a long-distance backpacker and trailrunner based in Taos, NM after seven years living full-time on the road. Her award-winning memoir, Alone in Wonderland, about her thruhike on the Wonderland Trail launched her career as an author and literary outdoorswoman. Her second project, a short-story collection by 26 women+ about their time on trail, Blood Sweat Tears, was selected for a Banff Mountain Book Festival award in 2024. She has since launched a niche publishing company to elevate stories by women and gender-expansive folks in the outdoors. Reed firmly believes that encouraging and inspiring more women+ into time spent in nature is making the world a better place.
